GEORGE LYNCH Composes Soundtrack For ‘Blackroom’ Game

Former DOKKEN and current LYNCH MOB guitarist George Lynch has composed the soundtrack to a new game called Blackroom in the first-person shooter genre.

Night Work Games, led by John Romero and Adrian Carmack, two of the original creators of Wolfenstein, Doom, Quake, and the first-person shooter genre of games in the 1990s, is launching a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign to raise $700,000 to make the game.

Blackroom is described in a press release as “a visceral, varied and violent shooter that harkens back to classic FPS play with a mixture of exploration, speed, and intense, weaponized combat. Use fast, skillful movement to dodge enemy attacks, circle-strafe your foes, and rule the air as you rocket jump in the single and multiplayer modes. Blackroom launches with unique multiplayer maps and robust modding support for the community to make diabolical creations of their own design.”

Lynch is one of the most recognizable names in the world of heavy metal guitar. With a career spanning more than thirty years, George has recorded more than twenty albums, toured the entire globe many times, and is the one of the most recognizable endorsees of the world’s finest guitars and equipment.

Project N-Fidelikah At The Troubadour, Monday December 14th 2015 Review

IMG_0318Before Halo Circus’ set the Troubadour stage on Monday night, during Say it Loud! A Night of Cultural Disruption, an interesting band with an intriguing moniker and an even more curious line-up had decided to truly entertain the crowd.

If I read it correctly, it was the debut show for the curious anti-supergroup called Project N-Fidelikah and featuring bassist Pancho Tomaselli (ex-War) with other legendary artists: Angelo Moore, lead singer for the Los Angeles alternative rock band Fishbone, was on vocals, saxophone and keyboard, George Lynch of the heavy metal band Dokken and Lynch Mob was on guitar, and Chris Moore was on drums. It sounded like an impossible blend but somehow, it was a dynamite combination. Project N-Fidelikah presented themselves with some chaos and an awesome weirdness, but they started their show with a crazy video, summing up in a few minutes everything that is going wrong in the world today, from ISIS terrorist attacks, to global warming, corruption, wars and bombs. They were certainly on a mission to start a sort of revolution, with a surrealist and unique vision and some crazy mix of funk, rock, jazz, blues, or rather some ‘punk funk from the ghetto underground’ as they described their project on their Facebook page.

There’s too much damn carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, terrorists are opening fire on concerts, drones bomb innocent civilians and a bigoted billionaire with a fucked up mop head spews hate on the campaign trail. Who could have the audacity to tackle this troubled world and still have a sense of humor about it? Project N-fidelikah, a new funk punk ghetto underground quartet.

The oddball roster enlists George Lynch on guitar, Chris Moore on drums, Pancho Tomaselli on bass and Angelo Moore on vocals. And if a group comprised of musicians whose credentials between them includes Fishbone, Dokken, and WAR sounds like an impossible mashup, Project N-fidelikah will make a believer out of the skeptics.
